The dexter half bears a demi-eagle, while the sinister half features the imperial key on a column, both elements of the traditional Genevan civic arms. Above the shield, the solar emblem of the IHS Christogram radiates prominently within a sunburst, a distinctive symbol of the Reformed city. The field is framed by elaborate acanthus scroll decoration, and the circumferential legend GENEVENSIS • RESPUBLICA runs around the entire perimeter, with a beaded border at the rim.

背面描述	The reverse presents the denomination SIX SOLS in two bold lines at the centre of the field, enclosed within a richly ornamented baroque cartouche of foliate and scroll design. Below the denomination the engraver's initials P • B appear, followed by the date 1791 in the lower exergual area. The circumferential legend POST TENEBRAS LUX — the Reformation motto of Geneva, meaning 'After Darkness, Light' — encircles the design, separated from the inner cartouche by a plain field, with a beaded border at the rim.
