Obverse description Central field dominated by the interlaced royal cypher 'C7' — the crowned monogram of King Christian VII — rendered in large relief and surmounted by a royal crown with arched bands and orb finial. The monogram occupies nearly the full diameter of the inner field. A circular beaded border frames the design, with the Latin legend running along the periphery identifying the king by his titles.
