Obverse description Central field bears the royal epithet in Arabic calligraphy reading 'al-Sultan Nadir' (السلطان نادر), rendered in bold naskh script within a plain circular flan. The inscription is arranged in two lines, filling the central field without a border or decorative frame, typical of Afsharid hammered coinage of the period. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges and surface texture consistent with hand-struck production.
