The uppermost line reads 'Khallada Allah mulkahu' (May Allah perpetuate his reign), the central line carries the mint name 'Shiraz' (شیراز / شرز), and the lower register records the AH regnal date 1151. Floral or pellet ornamental devices are interspersed between the lines of text, consistent with Afsharid mint practice. The flan is broader and slightly more regular than the obverse, with the beaded border clearly visible around much of the circumference. |

Nadir Shah's currency reforms of the mid-1730s systematically restructured the Safavid monetary inheritance he had seized, imposing new denominational structures across a mint network that stretched from Kabul to Basra. The Shiraz mint — one of the more productive provincial operations — was brought firmly under Afsharid administrative control following Nadir's formal assumption of the throne at the Mughan plain in 1736, making issues from the immediately subsequent years the first to fully reflect his sovereignty rather than his regency.
Album 2747 distinguishes several type progressions within Nadir's coinage. Type C placement is mint-specific and helps date production to a narrow window before further legend revisions.
