| Obverse description | Central field bears a multi-line Arabic inscription in Nasta'liq script arranged within a rectangular cartouche, reading the Shi'a kalima and the name of the Imam Ali. The inscription is bordered by a continuous inner dotted circle and an outer beaded border following the irregular flan edge. The overall layout is characteristic of Afsharid hammered coinage, with the legends occupying nearly the entire field. |
