Obverse description Central field occupied by a bold, multi-line Arabic legend in fluid Nasta'liq calligraphy, reading the pious formula invoking eternal sovereignty upon the ruler. The inscription is arranged in three registers across the flan, with the text 'خلد الله ملکه' in the upper portion, the mint name 'ضرب استراباد' in the middle register, and the regnal year '۱۱۶۲' along the lower margin. Floral and foliate vine ornaments fill the periphery, framing the legends in the characteristic Afsharid decorative style. The die is struck on an irregularly shaped hammered flan, typical of mid-18th century Iranian minting practice.
