Obverse description Central oval baroque cartouche bearing a four-fold quartered shield of the arms of Paderborn and Pyrmont, with an inescutcheon of the Fürstenberg family arms at center. The cartouche is elaborately framed in baroque ornamental style. A Latin legend encircles the design within a beaded border, reading the bishop's titles and territorial claims as prince of the Holy Roman Empire and Count of Pyrmont.
