| 背面描述 | The denomination 'VI' appears prominently at the top of the field, flanked by a six-pointed star on each side. Below, in three horizontal lines, the legend 'PFENNING' is inscribed, followed by the abbreviation 'M.S.L.M' (Mecklenburg-Strelitz Land Münze) on the next line, and the mint-master's initials 'I.F.F' in the lower field. The lettering is bold and rectilinear in style, filling the coin's face without a surrounding border legend. |

Adolph Frederick IV ruled Mecklenburg-Strelitz for over four decades, but his coinage is rarely studied in depth — the duchy was among the smallest and most financially constrained of the German states, and copper small change like this 6 Pfennig was produced in limited quantity to serve local needs during the Seven Years' War, when silver was being hoarded or diverted to military expenditure across the German territories.
Kunzel 603 is the authoritative reference for this type, as Hannemann's earlier work contains several attribution errors for the Strelitz copper series.
