Obverse lettering TREMONNIENSIS
Reverse description Plain field bearing the denomination inscription arranged in three bold horizontal lines reading VI / PFEN / NING, flanked by small six-pointed star ornaments above and below the text. The lettering is large and occupies most of the reverse field, a characteristic layout used on small-denomination hammered pfennig coinage of Imperial German cities in the mid-17th century. The overall style is austere and functional, consistent with municipal circulation coinage of the period.
