| Reverse description | A finely detailed dorsal view of a sea turtle rendered in high relief occupies the centre of the field, its carapace with clearly delineated scutes and outstretched flippers extending toward the edges of the coin. The date 1937 is divided on either side of the turtle's body at mid-field. The issuer name FIJI appears in the upper legend and the denomination SIXPENCE curves along the lower periphery. A dentilated border encircles the entire design. |
