Reverse description A crowned lion passant guardant is depicted atop a heraldic crown, the whole centred within a linear circle that divides the date 1924 on either side. The denomination SIXPENCE appears below the circle, while the abbreviated Latin legend runs above along the upper periphery. A beaded border encircles the entire design.
