Reverse description An Irish harp, surmounted by a royal Tudor crown, occupies the centre of the field within a beaded inner circle. The harp is rendered in the characteristic style of late Elizabethan Irish coinage, with clearly delineated strings. A mintmark introduces the surrounding Latin legend, which runs clockwise between the beaded inner circle and the irregularly shaped hammered edge of the flan.
