Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Queen Elizabeth I facing left, wearing an elaborate ornate crown, her hair flowing loosely behind her neck and adorned with jeweled dress and beaded collar. A small Tudor rose device appears in the field to the right of the effigy. The circumferential Latin legend is separated from the inner field by a beaded inner circle and an outer milled border.
