备注

The Nederlandsch Officieren Club in Australie was a social and welfare organization established to serve Dutch naval and military officers who had escaped the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies and were regrouping in Australia. These small-denomination scrip notes circulated internally within the club — essentially a private monetary system running parallel to Australian currency, used to settle tabs and purchases within club premises rather than in general commerce.

Six pence was a functionally useful denomination in wartime Australia, roughly covering a modest drink or small purchase. The scrip was never legal tender and carried no government backing of any kind.
