| 备注 |
British Armed Forces Special Vouchers were not currency in any conventional banking sense — they were a controlled scrip system designed to prevent sterling from leaking into local economies near British garrison towns and bases overseas. The 3rd series, introduced in 1956, tightened controls that had been progressively refined since the immediate postwar BAFSV issues.
De La Rue printed the entire series under tight security specifications. Unauthorized possession by civilians was a disciplinary offence, not merely a customs irregularity.
