| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a large, boldly rendered letter S dominating the central field, serving as the Greek numeral stigma denoting the value of six nummi. The character is deeply struck and occupies nearly the entire flan, with no surrounding legend or decorative border. The surface exhibits the characteristic rough texture and patina of a hammered bronze coin struck at the Alexandria mint. The minimalist design is consistent with the late Byzantine fractional coinage convention of using a single numeral to express denomination. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, as typical of Alexandria mint production under Heraclius. |
