Obverse description The crowned arms of Nassau occupy the central field, depicting a crowned lion rampant to sinister upon a field strewn with seven billets, all rendered in a shield form. The armorial shield is surmounted by a ducal crown and enclosed by a beaded inner circle. A continuous Latin legend surrounds the entire device, with an outer grenetis forming the outermost border.
