Obverse description Central field features the Hungarian royal coat of arms — a crowned shield divided quarterly, displaying the traditional horizontal stripes of Hungary on the dexter side and the patriarchal double cross on a triple-mount on the sinister side. The shield is surmounted by the Hungarian Holy Crown. The denomination mark '6. K.' appears prominently across the centre of the shield. A circular legend in Latin surrounds the design, reading 'MAGYAR KIRÁLYI VÁLTÓ PÉNZ', meaning 'Hungarian Royal Change Money', disposed around the upper and lower periphery of the coin.
