| Opis rewersu | A cross pattée divides the field into four quarters, each containing an oval heraldic shield representing, respectively, the arms of Tyrol, Austria, Styria, and ancient Burgundy. The design is presented without an inner circle, with the peripheral legend running around the outer edge of the coin. The overall composition reflects the dynastic territorial claims of the Habsburg archduchies. |

Rudolf II spent much of his reign in a protracted power struggle with his brother Matthias, who was steadily stripping away his territories — Hungary in 1606, Austria and Moravia by 1608. The Hall mint in Tyrol was among the few imperial facilities that remained reliably under Rudolf's control during this deterioration, making its output from precisely these years an inadvertent record of shrinking authority. The 6 Kreuzer denomination itself was a workhorse of trans-Alpine trade, widely accepted across the fragmented imperial territories where larger denominations were impractical for daily commerce.
