| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her hair elaborately dressed and piled high with curls in the Baroque fashion. The effigy is rendered in fine relief with ornate drapery at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads M. THERESIA. D: G: R. IMP. HU. BO. REG. C, identifying her as Queen of Hungary and Bohemia and Empress of Rome by the grace of God. The portrait occupies the majority of the coin's field in a bold and stately style characteristic of mid-18th-century Habsburg coinage. |

| Reverse description | Crowned and elaborately mantled Habsburg arms displaying a complex quartered shield incorporating the dynastic territories, surrounded by ornamental scrollwork and cartouche in high Baroque style. A large imperial crown surmounts the shield at the top. The encircling Latin legend references her titles as Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, and Countess of Tyrol, with the date appearing in the legend. The Roman numeral VI appears prominently in the lower portion of the field, denoting the six Kreuzer denomination. |
