| Reverse description | Crowned and elaborately mantled Habsburg arms displaying a complex quartered shield incorporating the dynastic territories, surrounded by ornamental scrollwork and cartouche in high Baroque style. A large imperial crown surmounts the shield at the top. The encircling Latin legend references her titles as Archduchess of Austria, Duchess of Burgundy, and Countess of Tyrol, with the date appearing in the legend. The Roman numeral VI appears prominently in the lower portion of the field, denoting the six Kreuzer denomination. |

These pieces were struck at Prague during the War of the Austrian Succession, when Maria Theresia's grip on Bohemia was anything but secure. French and Bavarian forces had occupied Prague in late 1741, and the Bohemian mint's resumed output under Habsburg authority from 1743 was itself a political signal — the city had been retaken, and coinage was flowing again. The two-year window of this issue reflects the broader instability of the mint's operations during the conflict rather than any planned series.
