Obverse description Draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, without inner circle, rendered in the late Baroque style typical of Habsburg coinage. The value VI appears in Roman numerals within two concentric circles in the field. The peripheral legend reads LEOPOLDVS·D·G·R·I·S·A·G·H·B·R, identifying the emperor by his titles as Holy Roman Emperor, King of Hungary and Bohemia.

A crown surmounts the shield and divides the date across the upper field.
