Reverse description Central shield bearing the Prussian eagle displayed, surmounted by a royal crown of elaborate form, the whole set within an ornate baroque cartouche with scrolling acanthus foliage and foliate branches crossed at the base. The mint mark W and the initials AHE appear below the cartouche, with the date 1746 incorporated into the right portion of the surrounding Latin legend. The full peripheral legend, separated by dots, reads M B S R I A C ET PR EL S SIL D 1746, abbreviating the king's extensive territorial titles.
