Obverse description Draped bust of Friedrich Casimir Kettler facing right, depicted with a flowing long wig characteristic of the late 17th-century Baroque style, wearing armour with ornamental detail visible at the shoulder. The effigy occupies the central field, with the peripheral Latin legend arranged around the circumference. The portrait exhibits fine engraving typical of the Mitau mint's output of this period.
