Obverse description Armored bust of Albert of Hohenzollern facing right, depicted with a beard and elaborately styled hair, set within a beaded inner circle. The effigy is rendered in the Renaissance style typical of early 16th-century German coinage. The encircling legend reads ALBERTVS-D-G-MAR-BRAN-DVX-PRVSSI in Latin capitals distributed around the periphery of the coin.
