| Reverse description | The reverse presents an excerpt from 'A True Story' (Ἀληθῆ διηγήματα), the celebrated prose narrative by the Greco-Syrian author Lucian of Samosata (c. 125–180 AD), widely regarded as one of the earliest works of science fiction, in which he describes a fantastical journey to the Moon. The Greek text is rendered across the central field in an artistic layout.
