Additional information

Greece has no particular national connection to the Apollo 11 mission, and the €6 denomination itself is a collector fiction — it has never circulated and corresponds to no functional monetary unit. The Bank of Greece issued it purely as a numismatic product for the mission's 50th anniversary, joining dozens of other European mints that produced commemorative pieces in 2019 for the same occasion.
