| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a right-facing portrait of the distinguished Greek economist Ioannis (Yangos) Pesmazoglou (1918–2003) in high relief, occupying the central field. The issue year and the mint mark of the Bank of Greece (palmette symbol) are placed within the field. A continuous peripheral legend in Greek script encircles the entire design, identifying the subject within the series dedicated to prominent Greek economists. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Ioannis Pesmazoglou served as Governor of the Bank of Greece from 1955 to 1967, a tenure cut short by the military junta that seized power in April of that year. His subsequent political activity under the dictatorship — including founding the moderate opposition movement known as EDIK — made him one of the more consequential economic figures to also hold elected office in the post-junta democratic period.
The 6-euro denomination is specific to the Bank of Greece's collector series honoring figures from Greek economic history, with no circulation function whatsoever.
