Reverse description Two seated episcopal figures, identified as Saints Rudbertus (Rupert) and Virgilius (Virgil), the patron saints of Salzburg, facing one another across a centrally placed architectural model of the Salzburg cathedral. Both saints are vested in full pontificals including mitres and cope, and each holds a crozier; the left figure additionally displays a model of a church. The composition is enclosed by a beaded inner border, with the circular Latin legend naming the two saints as Bishops of Salzburg running around the outer periphery.
