Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Cardinal Joseph Dominicus of Lamberg, Bishop of Passau, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The subject is depicted wearing ecclesiastical robes with a pectoral cross suspended on a chain at the lower right. The hair is styled in loose curls falling to the shoulder, consistent with mid-18th-century aristocratic convention. A circular Latin legend surrounding the effigy reads IOS • DOMINIC • CARDINAL • DE • LAMBERG, interrupted by the truncation of the bust at lower left and right. The finely milled border frames the design with a prominent toothed rim.

Reverse description Central display of an elaborate quartered coat of arms of the Bishopric of Passau, surmounted by a pontifical hat and supported on either side by a displayed eagle with spread wings, each holding a crozier, the whole resting on a foliate base in the Baroque tradition. Above the shield, a prince-bishop's crown is prominently rendered. The circular Latin legend surrounding the design reads D • G • EPISC • PATAV • S • R • I • PRINC, with the date 1753 incorporated into the legend at upper left. The finely milled border frames the reverse with a uniform toothed rim matching the obverse.
