Beschrijving voorzijde Detailed panoramic view of the city of Regensburg with the River Danube in the foreground, showing bridges, boats, and fortifications, with the city's characteristic skyline of towers and ecclesiastical spires in the middle ground. Above the cityscape, a crowned eagle with spread wings flies in the open field, flanked by clouds, with a radiant triangle (the Eye of Providence) above. The city arms appear in an ornamental cartouche in the lower exergue. The surrounding legend reads TALI SUB CUSTODIA, arching across the upper field in Latin. The engraving is executed in a fine, detailed baroque style characteristic of late 18th-century German municipal coinage.

Beschrijving keerzijde Displayed double-headed imperial eagle with both heads crowned and surmounted by a large imperial crown, the wings spread and elaborately feathered. On the eagle's breast is affixed a crowned shield bearing the quartered arms of the Holy Roman Empire. The eagle holds a sword and sceptre in its talons. The surrounding legend, divided by the eagle's heads, reads IOSEPHVS II • D • G • - NOM • IMP • SEMP • AVG •, identifying the reigning Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II. The design conforms to the standard imperial eagle type used on German municipal coinage of the period.
