Reverse description Central device features a large Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with both heads facing outward and crowned by a single imperial crown above, the breast ornamented with a decorative flourish or cartouche below. The eagle's wings are spread wide with finely detailed feathering rendered in high relief. A beaded inner circle separates the central device from the circumferential legend DOMINE CONSERVA NOS IN PACE (Lord, preserve us in peace), reading around the full periphery with small rosette stops. The overall composition reflects the dignity and authority of Zürich as a free Imperial city.
