| Obverse description | Youthful draped bust of Ferdinando IV facing right, portrayed as a child king with curled hair tied with a ribbon at the nape, wearing a lace jabot and court dress. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque tradition, with fine detail in the drapery and hair. A small engraver's initial 'A.' appears in the field below the truncation.
