Reverse description A winged genius standing facing, shown nearly nude with a drape over the left forearm, resting one hand upon a fluted classical column surmounted by a royal crown and leaning the other upon a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Two Sicilies. The figure stands on a raised platform, beneath which three lines of inscriptions record the weight, fineness, and denomination: TRAPP. 8. 50/100 / TITOLO MILLESIMI 996 / DUCATI 6. The surrounding legend REGNI VTR. SIC. ET HIER. arcs around the upper field, with the remainder of the title continuing around the sides. The design reflects the neoclassical allegorical tradition of the Bourbon mints of southern Italy.
