Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is dominated by a large central vignette of a short-beaked echidna (Tachyglossus aculeatus) rendered in fine detail against a muted green and grey underprint suggestive of natural habitat. To the left, the denomination numeral '6' and the text 'SIX AUSSIES' appear in bold lettering over a guilloche underprint in light blue tones, accompanied by a small stylized lizard vignette in gold. The vertical inscription 'AUSTRALIA' runs along the right margin, with the Latin scientific name 'Tachyglossus aculeatus' printed vertically beside it, and 'SHORT-BEAKED ECHIDNA' inscribed across the upper left.
