| Obverse description | Brown letterpress print on vertical format. A central vignette set within an arched frame shows a view through a stone gateway passage with mountainous terrain beyond. The denomination 伍仟圓 (5000 Yuan) appears in large Chinese characters within a decorative cartouche in the lower half, flanked by ornate scrollwork. Two red serial numbers are printed above and below the central vignette, with two signature columns at bottom and the Republican calendar date 中華民國三十六年 at the foot. |
