Central oval vignette bearing the denomination inscription 伍仟圓 (Five Thousand Yuan) in Chinese characters, flanked at right by a vignette of junks under sail on open water. The bank name 晉察冀邊區銀行 is inscribed across the top in Chinese, with the serial number printed in the upper right field. Denomination numerals 5000 appear at lower left and lower right corners, with the date 中華民國三十六年 (Republic of China Year 36) along the lower margin. |
