备注

The 2006 paper version of the 5000 Won predates the polymer shift that Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation introduced for lower denominations, and it was eventually discontinued as the Bank of Korea moved toward more sophisticated substrate and security feature combinations. By this point the series was already supplemented by holographic foil strips on higher denominations, leaving the 5000 Won's watermark-only security profile looking notably sparse by regional standards.

P#55 is one of the last conventional paper issues in this denomination before updated designs and materials arrived with the 2009 series revision.
