| Obverse description | At the center-upper portion of the obverse, the coat of arms of the Republic of Kazakhstan is prominently displayed, surrounded by a fivefold ornamental eight-pointed rosette. Encircling this central motif, the legend ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ (National Bank of Kazakhstan) is inscribed in Kazakh in the upper field. In the lower portion of the field, the denomination 5000 ТЕҢГЕ is rendered in bold lettering. To the left of the denomination appears the Kazakhstan Mint trademark accompanied by the mass inscription 1 kg, while to the right the fineness mark Ag 925 denotes the metal composition. A beaded rim and raised edge border the entire design. |
