A central oval cartouche contains a multi-line Arabic and Uzbek text giving the note's legal-tender declaration, flanked by the value "5000" and Cyrillic "РУБ" on either side. 备注

The Bukhara Soviet People's Republic was a short-lived Soviet client state established in 1920 after the Red Army overthrew the Emirate of Bukhara. It retained nominal independence for barely three years before being dissolved and absorbed into the Soviet Union in 1924. This 1922 emission came near the end of that window, issued by a government already losing whatever fiscal autonomy it had nominally held.

Bukharan notes from this period are genuinely scarce in Western collections — much of the surviving material remained in Soviet institutional holdings and filtered into the market slowly. The P#S1054 designation reflects its classification as a subsidiary or special issue, separate from the main Soviet emission series of the period.
