Elaborate guilloche scrollwork frames the central denomination inscription «ПЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ» in large Cyrillic lettering, surmounted by the full title of the Russian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic and the designation «РАСЧЕТНЫЙ ЗНАК».
