| Opmerkingen |
Cambodia's 1974 issues were among the last produced under the Khmer Republic before the Khmer Rouge took Phnom Penh in April 1975. The Banque Nationale du Cambodge ceased to function almost immediately — the new regime abolished money entirely, evacuated the cities, and destroyed the national bank's records and remaining stock. Notes from this final series consequently have a complicated survival history: substantial quantities were printed but never fully distributed, and unknown volumes were either burned or looted during the collapse.
Thomas De La Rue's watermark security was irrelevant within months of delivery.
