正面描述 Intaglio portrait of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini at right, rendered in dark brown against a light ground, with a guilloche-patterned underprint in orange and teal forming diagonal bands across the note. A central vignette panel in dark red carries the bank name in Arabic script above a floral cartouche with the denomination in Persian script, flanked by ornamental foliate borders. The numeral 5000 appears in both the upper-left and lower-right corners, with two signature blocks and a Persian title below the central panel.

背面描述 The central vignette presents two ancient Persian ceramic pieces rendered in intaglio: a pink-toned hemispherical bowl with Kufic inscription bands around its exterior at left, and a circular decorative plate in dark brown with a running deer amid floral motifs at right, both attributable to the 8th century Hijri. A guilloche arch in concentric multicolour rings occupies the upper-left background, while arabesque and geometric underprint patterns frame the lower border. The denomination numeral 5000 appears at both lower-left and upper-right, with the issuer name and denomination in English across the top.

备注

Thomas De La Rue's involvement here is worth pausing on. By the time this series was in production, U.S. and EU sanctions had severely restricted Iran's access to international printing contracts and specialized banknote materials — yet De La Rue, a British firm, continued supplying Iranian currency work through much of this period, a commercial relationship that drew periodic scrutiny from sanctions monitors and was eventually curtailed.

Three signature combinations across the print run reflect genuine ministerial and central bank governor turnover between 2013 and 2018, not printing variants introduced for collectors. Valiollah Seyf served as governor throughout, pairing successively with two different economy ministers.
