| 备注 |
Cuba's highest-denomination note as of its introduction, the 5000 Pesos was issued amid a currency crisis severe enough to render smaller bills functionally useless for everyday transactions — by the mid-2020s, hyperinflationary pressure had so eroded purchasing power that even the 1000 Peso note struggled to cover basic goods. Printing was contracted to Goznak in Moscow, a logical choice given the depth of Cuban-Russian economic ties in this period, and one that continues a decades-long pattern of the Cuban state turning to allied-nation printers when Western suppliers are unavailable.
