Descrizione del dritto	The Bulgarian state coat of arms is positioned to the left, with a formal portrait vignette of Tsar Boris III in military uniform occupying the right portion of the note. The design is framed by ornate guilloche borders with denomination numerals in each corner. Inscriptions in Cyrillic script identify the issuing bank and the place and date of issue.

Descrizione del rovescio	The central vignette presents a detailed intaglio rendering of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Sofia, set within an elaborate guilloche framework. Flanking panels carry the denomination value in Cyrillic script and numeral form repeated at left and right. The header inscription in French runs across the top of the note, with a legal warning against forgery rendered in smaller Cyrillic text along the lower margin.
