(Translation: NATIONAL BANK OF SLOVAKIA 5000 FIVE THOUSAND SLOVAK KORUNA MILAN RASTISLAV ŠTEFÁNIK)
Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a complex intaglio composition centring on the monumental Štefánik mausoleum at Bradlo Hill, rendered in warm ochre and reddish-brown tones. Star-map elements representing the Ursa Major constellation are integrated into the background design alongside stylised aeroplane motifs referencing Štefánik's aviator career. The Slovak double-cross coat of arms appears at lower right, and the denomination '5000' is repeated in large numerals at upper right.
