Beschrijving voorzijde	Intaglio portrait of Admiral Miguel Grau to the right, set against a multicolour guilloche underprint with the Peruvian coat of arms at centre; the issuer's name arches across the top, face value numerals appear at lower left and both right corners, the denomination in words is inscribed below the coat of arms, and a blank watermark panel occupies the left margin. All principal elements are rendered in fine intaglio engraving.

The Giesecke & Devrient printer's imprint appears at the lower right margin.
