| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, depicting a shield with a star above flanked by two crossed fasces, supported by laurel branches. The circular legend at top reads 'REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN' with the national motto 'PAIX TRAVAIL PATRIE' and its English equivalents 'PEACE WORK FATHERLAND' and 'REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON' distributed around the periphery.
