Additional information

The Decameron was written by Giovanni Boccaccio between 1348 and 1353, framed around ten Florentine nobles who flee the Black Death into the countryside and tell one hundred stories over ten days. Cameroon's involvement here is purely fiduciary — the coin is a product of the European collector-issue industry, where African sovereign mint rights are licensed to produce themed numismatic pieces with no domestic circulation intended.

At 155.50 grams, this is a five-troy-ounce format favored by the collector bullion crossover market.
