Obverse description Right-facing portrait bust of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Khafre (Chephren), depicted in the ancient Egyptian artistic style wearing the nemes headdress with a uraeus cobra at the crown and a broad usekh collar at the neck. A Horus falcon is rendered in relief behind the head. An ankh symbol appears in the right field. The circular legend 'REPUBLIQUE DE GUINEE' runs along the upper periphery, and the inscription 'CHEPHREN' is positioned in the lower field, all within a beaded border.
